This is the personal blog of Matthew E. Lee – A researcher and specialist in the field of Inclusive Education within International Schools.
I believe every student can excel in international schools with a whole-school approach towards the Inclusion of learners with additional educational needs.
As this requires the implementation of up-to-date global research, effective intervention strategies, and skilled leadership, I’ve started this blog to support professionals working within Inclusion in International Schools.
Currently affiliated with Manchester University, my academic research interests include: Policy formation, Critical Race Theory, Narrative methodology, Micro-politics, Educational Psychology, and Internationalism.
Currently based in India, my professional skills include: coordinating learning support teams, improving provision for learners requiring additional support, maximizing student and parental engagement using a data-led approach, and generally improving Inclusion within a whole-school (4-18) setting.
In my spare time, I like to read classic novels, study continental philosophy, cook vegan food, practice yoga, and train for distance running.
